Finding your nearest store…

Policies

Plain-language policies for shopping with Frekzii — what you agree to, what we do with your information, and how refunds and delivery work.

What we know about you, why we need it, and who else sees it. We collect what it takes to get groceries to your door, and not more.

What we hold

Your phone number, which is how you sign in. Your name, if you give us one, so the shop and the rider know who the order is for.

The addresses you save, including their position on the map. We need these to work out which branch can serve you and to get a rider to your door.

Your orders: what you bought, what it cost, how you paid, what happened to the delivery, and any refunds.

Your help desk conversations: what you wrote, the photographs you attached, and the shop’s replies.

A daily count, for each phone number, of sign-in codes sent, sign-ins, and how often Frekzii Bot was used — counts only, not what you typed. We use it to spot misuse and to keep the service fair.

If you allow them: your phone’s location while you are using the app, to find the nearest branch, and a notification token so we can tell you when your order moves.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics services in the app or on the website.

Who sees it

The branch serving your order sees your name, phone number, address and what you ordered, and the help desk conversations about it. It has to — somebody packs the bag, finds your door and answers you.

The rider carrying your order sees your name, phone number and address while the order is with them.

We do not sell your details to anybody.

Services that work for us

A few providers handle particular jobs for us, and see only what that job needs:

Razorpay processes online payments; your card and UPI details go to them, not to us. Google Maps finds addresses and routes. Firebase (Google) delivers notifications to your phone. Meta’s WhatsApp Business service carries sign-in codes and, if you asked for them, offers. Amazon Web Services stores our data and photographs in India (Mumbai), and Cloudflare protects and speeds up the website and app connections.

Frekzii Bot sends the lines of the list you type to OpenAI to match them to products. It does not send your name, number or address. Lines it has read recently are remembered for up to seven days, so the same line is read the same way again — remembered against the line and the store, not against you.

Location

Location is asked for once, and only to find the branch nearest you. You can refuse it and still shop — the app uses the address you choose instead.

We do not track your location in the background.

Messages

Notifications about an order — being prepared, packed, on its way, at your door, and anything that changes it, like a refund — and replies from the help desk are part of the service. The app offers to turn them on when you first open it; you can say no, and change your mind in your phone’s settings.

Offers, whether on WhatsApp or as notifications, are separate and off unless you switch them on under “Offers by WhatsApp and notifications” in your account. Switch it off again at any time and we stop.

How long we keep it

Orders, bills and refunds are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Help desk conversations and their photographs are kept with the order they are about, so a later question about it can be answered. A photograph you picked but never sent is deleted within a day or two.

You can delete your account yourself: in the app under Account → Delete account, or on our website at frekzii.com/delete-account, once no order is still in progress. Your name, phone number, the street details and map position of your saved addresses, your devices, your offers choice and your daily counts are removed straight away, and you are signed out everywhere.

Orders, bills and help desk conversations you already had stay on the shop’s books without your name or number, because a shop has to be able to account for what it sold and refunded. The town and pincode of an address stay with its orders.

Keeping it safe

In the app, your session lives in your phone’s secure keychain. Everything between you and us travels encrypted.

Proof-of-delivery photographs, help desk photographs, invoices and payment QR codes are private: they are shown only through links that expire, never from a public address.

Delivery partners

If you deliver for us with the Frekzii Delivery app, we also collect your phone’s location while you are on a delivery — including when the app is in the background or the screen is off — so the customer can see where their order is and the store can plan its rounds. Sharing stops when you finish your deliveries.

We keep the photos you take as proof of delivery, and records of the cash you collect and hand in, as part of the shop’s accounts.

Your name, and where you are while delivering their order, are shown to that customer. Nothing else about you is.
